MetaWatch Manager for iOS App Reviews

got a metawatch 6 months back, Ive been waiting for this watch manager app for like 6 months!… now it comes out … finally!! and it does not work!! incredible. None of the support links work either!!! the iPhone 4S does NOT pair with the metawatch… this is all a scam. Im very disappointed by what seems to be a very amateurish affair.

Good news ! Thank you for the APP !, now waiting for the frame bt4.0 au2004 firmware .... cause on the watch nothing appears but some random pixels

that works very well. No bugs ! I recommend this smartwatch

Really love my frame. Works fine. Only there are little updates in functionality such as alarm or open apps for third party providers. Would be nice to see a development there.

I cant connect to my watch after update this version!! What is wrong here....

only few ugly widgets, no way of customization, no watch faces, no notifications except of (truncated) sms, no apps - even basic ones like stopwatch, timer or world time... its just an early alfa version.

Buy this watch, but cant install this application on my iPhone 4 Only for iPhone 4S , why?

I had the pebble and liked everything about it but had trouble with it at times. If this watch had those it features it would be even better! I would like to read all my text messages as they come in and go bk if need be. I would like to answer my phone or hang up my phone like I could on the pebble.

Just got my watch I love it just not the apps hopefully they develop some more apps soon

Fix all these problems and people will give good reviews: Looses bluetooth connection ALL THE TIME! Rebooting the iPhone and watch seem to be the only way to fix it much of the time. This is VERY FRUSTRATING. Auto reconnect hardly ever works. App needs ability to relaunch if it crashes or looses bluetooth pairing/link. If the iPhone detects the watch it should ask the user if they want to reconnect if it is unable to auto reconnect. The martian smart-watch can do this. Weather widget frequently stops working. Needs ability to vibrate and blink LED backlight when clock alarms,count down timers, and reminders, and find my friends notifications go off. Watch battery level should be on the main screen in the app instead of hidden in the info section. Needs ability to beep/blink both phone and watch when they get out of range of each other. Needs a wider variety of widgets/apps on watch. Incoming phone calls should have option to show an 8 bit photo of the person calling if they have a photo in the users iPhone contact list. Needs option to display hazardous weather warnings when weather changes. Needs ability to pair with other bluetooth devices, such as the "Recon Instruments" heads up display Bluetooth GPS ski goggles. reconinstruments.com Needs ability to pair via Bluetooth simultaneously with MacBook Air. Music controls need more features. Such as ability to Choose play list, go back a song, shuffle, indicate song length and remaining time. All iPhone notifications for all apps with notifications turned on should go to the watch. custom vibrations for different callers. needs ability to remotely take a photo with iPhone. Users should be able to push a button on the watch to remotely make the iPhone beep loudly so it can be found. This is a watch and it should have the same functions that nearly all watches have: stopwatch, count down timer, world time, and dual time. Im running the latest version of the app and firmware.

After the update the music play/pause feature from the watch is not working.

It does what it says , but after all its a watch and theres only 4 watch faces available "non of them is analog watch face ", while competitors has tons of watch faces , so hopefully metawatch will update with more faces or else the watch will be going back to bestbuy .

I have had the Frame for about three days. Really like the watch. Call notification works well without this app running, but email and text notification and the weather and calendar widget requires the app running in background on 5S to work. May have an issue with battery drain of iPhone, but havent used it enough. Confirm that the play/pause button for music not working after upgrade but rarely use the watch to control music. Step widget uses iphone 5s sensors and works well. Nice feature. Four screens for watch that can be customized and scrolled through. This watch is a great addition to iphone 5s.

I love both of my METAWATCHes! The app is seamless to use, and having the capability to select different widgets really sold me on this.

Not worth it when meta watch blames apple for crashes.

Right from the box: the charger; why the clip? Why not plug it directly into the watch? Why an additional apparatus to be misplaced or lost? It must be plugged into the computer not an outlet! Once plugged in, it turned on, but it froze! I had to remove the battery to restart it; nothing else would work. It says to let charge for 2-3 hours before first use...mine took 15 hours. I had just given up when it just started up...only an hour into it, lets see how this goes...

The new baseball widget is great. The full screen weather widget is also very nice. I wish there were more watch faces, I would love an analog watch face, as well as the watch automatically lighting up when you move your arm and look at the watch. The built in accelerometer should be utilized. Its a five star app but could use more watch faces.

Ive had the watch for over a year now and have never been more disappointed in a gadget that I have purchased. An endless fiasco of reboots, lock ups, and kludgey UIs. Apple, please hurry up already with the iWatch.

The app keeps crashing. I cant use my watch without the app! Fix it please!

Good to finally see some additional apps. However, now the app keeps gps on all the time. If permission is removed from the Location Services or Location Services is turned off, the apps consumes battery even faster!! So much so that the phone gets hot until it dies... Please fix this immediately!!! Its making the watch non- usable due to this issue.
