MetaWatch Manager for iOS App Reviews

I like everything except the battery widgets accuracy is by 5%. I would give a 5 star rating if it exactly matched the battery level on my phone.

I like this a lot but wish they had NHL added as well.

The app is a perfect companion to the Metawatch. The watch is great, but needs more widgets. Come on all you developers, get off ur a$$3$ and write some more apps. The pebble is a joke compared to this watch.

BUT ever since the latest updates music controls dont work

This watch could do so much, such as a pedometer and sleep monitor, but instead it does very little. The development has really been slow and disappointing!

Seriously this watch can do so much more and yet the app limits the functionality with useless widgets. The only updates we get are for crappy sports widgets. Come on guys, I dont need stocks or the freaking Chinese lunar calendar. I want to see better watch faces, a cleaner music control, and email notifications. The current offerings are awful and so my $200 Strata collects dust in a drawer.

Metawatch Frame is the most underrated piece of technology that Ive ever come across! If you have an iphone, you need a metawatch. Simple, reliable and HELPFULL!! Thank you and look forward to more updates and MORE widgets!

Good value for the price, I do wish it had more functions though. I really would like a timer and stopwatch.

The app works great but has no apps yet, so limited functionality.

This watch is awesome, it is everything I wanted in a smart watch. The only problem is the app. It doesnt allow you to connect other apps to it. I try and use the music player function to control my spotify, but can only control my volume. Then when actually using the ios music player I cant play or pause it just next song and volume controls. Also there are no other apps that I can use with my watch, this app and the slow development of it are holding back a truly underrated piece of technology. If the music controls were fixed and there was actually an choice of compatible apps it would be 5/5.

The functuality is there but there are NO apps or widgets. There needs to be a sleep monitor and pedometer!!! Why advertise for something that isnt there! I bought this watch partly for running and now I know i mad a bad choice.

Everything is working great and all that but the functionality is seriously limited. The watch can do everything described in the apps page, but thats it. No cool yelp apps, no cool games, no other functionality but some limited sports, weather, and stock things. I love my frame ascetically, but I have stopped wearing it due to the lack of need for it!

Limited watch faces. And more importantly, the Play/Pause music controls have been disabled since the latest update (per MetaWatch Support.) It’s been over a month now, since I emailed them about this issue, and still no updates to the app to fix it. This limits the functionality of the app and the watch… Hopefully they will fix it and add more features (and watch faces) once IOS8 comes out!

App works great with the watch. I cant get the sports widgets to work and no email notifications either.

Needs an update ASAP!

Please update the app for IOS 8 ASAP!!! Otherwise the widget settings and many other function cannot be processed!!

It is fairly basic, but I LOVED it for the first 4 days. Unfortunately, since I upgraded my phone to IOS 8, you cant access the settings for each widget. Essentially, the widgets will be stuck in their default modes without allowing you to customize them to how you want them to work. My fancy watch pretty much just tells the time now. I would be happy to change my score and review of an update comes out soon. Im afraid they are focusing all of their attention on their newer models and are going to leave this one to become obsolete. We will see.

The watch is not recognized by the phone with iOS 8.0.1. The watch is now useless

Update the app... iOS 8 broke it. Weather no longer sends location. Did they just give up on this because of the iwatch?

This update fixed the iOS 8 widget issue. Love the live sports scores and the filter to let me shut off the annoying notifications from my kids games. This app didnt work for my new Meta m1 glance, but I like that app better.
